Basen (gram flour) Ka Halwa is Indian sweet dish made in every home, very easy to prepare and test is just awesome. Ingredients 250 Gms Gram flour or Besan 100 Gms ghee (clear unsalted butter) 250 Gms sugar 1 cup water Method Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed frying pan on medium flame add gram flour, stir vigorously, cook until it becomes light brown, add sugar and water, stir continuously, cook until halwa separates from the frying pan Grease a big tray (metal) using few drops of ghee. Spread the hot thick and sticky mixture on the tray. Cool it. halwa is ready.
