Ingredients 7 rasgulla discs For the garnish 1 recipe sandesh 2 edible silver leaves ( varq ) 2 tablespoons milk 1 to 2 drops rose essence 3 tablespoons pistachio powder a few saffron strands Method 1. Make the rasgulla discs as mentioned in the recipe. Remove the chilled rasgulla discs from the syrup and squeeze out the excess syrup. 2. Cover one side of each rasgulla disc from the syrup and squeeze out the excess syrup. 3. Cover one side of each rasgulla disc with the silver leaf. 4. Mix together the sandesh, milk and rose essence till it is smooth and no lumps remain. 5. Make a layer of petals along the sides of each rasgulla disc with the sandesh mixture using a flat teaspoon. 6. Fill the centre with pistachio powder and saffron. 7. Serve chilled.
